East Windsor will proceed with the NJDOT’s mandated engineering work.
The project schedule will be determined upon engineering completion and NJDOT approval and in coordination with other municipal projects, likely in the upcoming spring or summer 2025.
“We are very appreciative to receive this State grant funding to support our efforts to improve important roadways in East Windsor,” Mironov said.
“These road sections are in an extremely deteriorated condition and are very much in need of repairs and improvements. These State grant funds are an important resource in our efforts to undertake needed local roadway improvements in East Windsor, for which the Township would otherwise have to devote local tax dollars to perform these roadway improvements.”
East Windsor has also successfully applied for and received other recent NJDOT grants to support roadway improvements.
In 2023 and 2024, the Township received two grants totaling $1,425,781 for Dutch Neck Road, between the West Windsor border and Hickory Corner Road, and Dorchester Drive, from Dutch Neck Road south to the end.

Both projects recently have been completed.
