Giving Tuesday is a global initiative that brings people together to harness the potential of collective generosity. Fortunately for folks in the East Windsor area, there’s no shortage of organizations nearby that could greatly benefit from your support.

Here are five outstanding organizations in the East Windsor area. Please consider volunteering or donating to them for Giving Tuesday and beyond.


  1. JCC Princeton Mercer Bucks β€” JCC Princeton Mercer Bucks in East Windsor aims to enrich the lives of those in the local Jewish community through various social, cultural and recreational programs and services.   2. Rise β€” Rise is a social support center in central New Jersey, primarily serving Hightstown and East Windsor. The nonprofit provides various necessities for individuals and families, including groceries and school supplies, health and wellness programs and college readiness support. Learn more at njrise.org.

Epilepsy Services New Jersey β€” Epilepsy Services of New Jersey, based in East Windsor and affiliated with The Family Resource Network, is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those affected by epilepsy. The organization provides personalized support and advocacy to help individuals and their families participate more fully in society, while also working toward curing and preventing epilepsy through advocacy and research.   4. Trenton Soup Kitchen β€” The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen provides various support programs for those in need in the Greater Trenton Area. In addition to providing meals, the soup kitchen offers case management services, adult education programs, job search assistance and creative arts classes to help individuals become self-sufficient and enhance their quality of life.   5. All Access Mental Health (AAMH) β€” AAMH is a nonprofit community-based mental health center in Greater Mercer County. The center provides a range of behavioral health services, including psychiatric day treatment, psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management and integrated holistic healthcare.
