Here's Your Chance To Join Boards, Committees In East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR, NJ β If you've always wanted to join local boards and committees, this is your chance.
Mayor Janice S. Mironov and East Windsor Township Council are encouraging residents to volunteer for appointment to the various Township Boards and Committees.

βWe encourage residents to become a contributing part of their government by volunteering to serve on a Township board of committee. Our government operates best when volunteers offer input and advice on our operations and projects," Mironov said.
"Public participation provides mutual benefits for residents and elected officials, and hopefully stimulates citizens to have a greater interest in and understanding of the role of local government.β

Residents can serve on the Clean Communities Advisory Committee, Commission on Aging, East Windsor Municipal Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse, Economic Development Committee, Environmental Commission, Health Advisory Board, Planning Board, Recreation Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Community members interested in volunteering can obtain an application form from the Municipal Clerk or the Township website, or send a letter of interest and a resume or information about their background to: Mayor Janice S.
