Kohl’s Is Closing 27 Stores Including East Windsor Location

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Kohl's will be closing 27 underperforming stores across the country including the location in East Windsor as it struggles with improve profits.

The East Windsor store is located at 72 Princeton Hightstown Road.

The closures will occur by April 2025.

“While Kohl's continues to believe in the health and strength of its profitable store base, these specific locations were underperforming stores,” the company said in a statement.

“We always take these decisions very seriously," Tom Kingsbury, Kohl’s chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"As we continue to build on our long-term growth strategy, it is important that we also take difficult but necessary actions to support the health and future of our business for our customers and our teams."

All store employees have been informed of the decision and have been offered a competitive severance package or the ability to apply to other open roles at Kohl's.
