Sen. Cory Booker Visits Shiseido Facility In East Windsor
The Japanese cosmetic company is celebrating its 150th Anniversary.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ β Sen. Cory Booker recently toured the Shiseido facility located in East Windsor and held a town hall with employees.
The Japanese cosmetic company is celebrating its 150th Anniversary. Shiseido opened its East Windsor facility in 1998 and is home to the company's North American manufacturing center and its Global Innovations Center.
Mayor Janice Mironov and company executives welcomed Booker to the facility on Aug. 11. βEast Windsor is proud of the beneficial partnership we have enjoyed with the global cosmetics giant Shiseido, which is a great business model, community model and a pro-active environmental leader,β Mironov said. βShiseido represents for East Windsor the best of our high-tech, high-growth companies within our Einsteinβs Alley corridor.β

The 350,000-square-foot East Windsor facility employs over 340 workers, produces over 2,600 products, and includes manufacturing and innovation with three shifts/five days per week.

Shiseido brands include NARS, Drunk Elephant, Tory Birch, Issey Miyake, Dolce & Gabbana, and Narciso Rodriguez among others.
