Susan Bluth Named Hightstown Borough Council President

Councilwoman Susan Bluth has been named the Council President of the Hightstown Borough Council at their reorganization meeting last Thursday. Bluth’s term on the Council expires at the end of 2014. 

The six person council also welcomed two new members last week as Steven Misiura and Denise Hansen took their oaths of office. Misiura and Hansen, both Democrats, are replacing Selena Bibens and Lynne Woods, the Republican incumbents they defeated in the November election. 

Woods and Bibens were both honored with an official proclamation from the Borough by Mayor Steven Kirson at the meeting for all of their hard work serving as Councilwomen for the past three years.
