Theft of Identity, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
The East Windsor Police blotter dated Jan. 30 has the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Jan. 23, at 12:48 p.m., an officer responded to Flagstar Bank on a report that an individual was inside the bank and attempting to open a bank account using a fraudulent driver’s license. Additionally, the same man previously attempted to pass a forged US Treasury check. The officer identified the man, a Sicklerville, NJ resident, who was in possession of a fraudulent Pennsylvania driver’s license with another person’s pedigree information. The 55-year-old was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Jan. 24 at 1:40 p.m., an officer responded to Route 130 North to investigate an alleged road rage incident. The officer met with the involved parties and resolved the dispute; however, one person was found to have an active warrant out of North Arlington. The 28-year-old Monroe resident was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the North Arlington Police Department.
On Jan. 25 at 12:03 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 133 West after observing the driver not maintaining their lane. The driver, a Philadelphia, PA resident was found to have an active warrant out of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department. The 38-year-old was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later transported to Mercer County Corrections where he was detained on the active warrant.

On Jan. 25 at 11:26 p.m., an officer responded to the area of Twin Rives Drive North for a report of a possible intoxicated driver who was operating the vehicle erratically. The officer located the vehicle and met with the driver who showed signs of impairment. The East Windsor resident was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver was transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.
On Jan. 28, at 8:42 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 571 after observing the driver delaying traffic. The driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license and warrants out of Robbinsville and Freehold. The 32-year-old East Windsor resident was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.

On Jan. 29, at 5:29 a.m., an officer responded to the Windsor Hotel for a report of a citizen dispute. One of the people involved was found to have an active warrant out of Burlington Township. The 43-year-old Joppa, MD resident was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.
On Jan. 29, at 8:51 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 33 East for an unclear license plate and a brake light out. The driver provided the officer with a false name and was later found to have a suspended license and active warrants out of Trenton, Marlboro, Freehold, Old Bridge, and East Windsor. The 35-year-old East Windsor resident was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on a complaint summons after posting bail.
