College Payment Seminars
Kevin Simmee, the president and founder of College Funding Alternatives, will be hosting a lecture at the Twin Rivers Library explaining how families can plan for college and still save for the future. This talk is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m.Β
The McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union is also hosting a seminar to help students save for college and avoid debt after graduation. βBook Smart, Street Smart: Saving For College and Avoiding Debt" is being held Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union, which is located atΒ 120 Windsor Center Drive inΒ East Windsor.Β The speaker, Lauren Young, is the wealth editor at Thomson Reuters overseeing personal finance, investment management and wealth management. Recycling Day in Hightstown is scheduled for Wednesday.ΒEntertainment
Last Band Standing will be performing at Association Park on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as a part of the Hightstown Summer Concert Series. They will be playing on the new concert stage in Association Park. Last Band Standing plays hit music from the 1960βs up until today. So, bring a picnic and have some fun!

Bilingual Storytime
Come to the Hightstown Library on Monday at 10:30 a.m. for Bilingual Story Time with Senora Chico. Children between the ages of two and five will listen to stories in both English and Spanish and then make a craft to take home.Β
Legislative Outreach Info Table
Stop by the Hightstown Library on Thursday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to learn about government services that are available to you. These types of services include property tax relief, home energy assistance, unemployment benefits, NJ Family Care and small business assistance. No registration is required - just stop on by!
Cranbury
The Cranbury Zoning Board is meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Cranbury Town Hall.Β
The Cranbury Recycle Shed will be open on Friday between 9 a.m. and noon at the DPW yard.Β
