Visit Mercer County Parks for Springtime Fun

Summer Tennis registration begins 8 a.m. Sunday.

There is plenty to do Saturday at Mercer County Parks and the Howell Living History Farm. Take part in a 5K to fight cancer, plant some trees or register for summer tennis.

  • On Saturday, April 6, take part in the Catholic Charities 5K from 9 a.m. to noon. Same day registration is 7:30 at the park's West Picnic Area. Contact Christa MarzanΒ Β  609-394-5181 for more information.
  • On Saturday, April 6, head to the Howell Living History FarmΒ from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and get a taste of days gone by during a sawmilling program. Visitors of all ages will "get a grip" on history byΒ grabbing a shovel, saw, drawknife, or cant hook and help plant trees, cut firewood, make barn pegs and ready logs for the sawmill.
  • On Sunday, April 7, Mercer County Park Tennis Center beginning at 8 a.m. and register for the summer tennis league. CallΒ 609-448-8007 for more information.Β
