Watch Dave Portnoy Of Barstool Sports,Review Edison's Oakwood Pizza
The local pizza shop is one of the latest to appear on Portnoy's "One Bite Pizza" series. See his review:
EDISON, NJ - Dave "El Presidente" Portnoy, the self-proclaimed pizza expert, found his way to Edison for his "one-bite" pizza reviews.
The internet personality checked out Oakwood Pizza, located at 167 Wood Avenue and then shared the video on his social media platforms as well as the Barstool Spots website.
After taking “one bite,” Portnoy rated it 7.3, calling it “good, basic, football pizza.” He made a rather generous tip of $50, which he claims was by mistake.

"First of all, I tipped $50, because you have to manually put in the tip, and I pressed an extra 0. I have too much money to be like, can you restart this thing?" Portnoy said.
Originally opened in 1982, Oakland Pizza has been a staple in the township. The owners then moved to Point Pleasant and started another pizza joint.
