Edison Council Accepts Grant Funding For Renovation At Stelton Community Center
The township had previously received a $3 million grant in order to fund the project.
EDISON, NJ – Council on Monday approved a resolution accepting a grant from the New Jersey State Public Library for the Community Center Digital Connect Grant.
The grant funding is for the amount of $286,298 and will go towards the rehabilitation of Stelton Community Center, including a sensory gym and a space for disabled youth.
The township had previously received a $3 million grant in order to fund the Community Center Digital Connect Project

“We’re excited to continue the renovation of the Stelton Community Center, made possible through generous grant funding from the New Jersey State Public Library,” Mayor Sam Joshi said.
“This investment will help us create a more welcoming, inclusive space for learning, connection, and community programming.”

The township’s Director of Health of Human Services had received a letter from the New Jersey State Library informing of the additional grant amount.
In order to accept these additional funds, the Township will need to submit a revised budget and plan to the New Jersey State Library.
