METUCHEN, NJ — Summer is around the corner and it's time to register at the local pool, to get a chance to cool off.
Metuchen Municipal Pool's Summer 2022 season is about to begin, and membership registration starts Tuesday. The registration portal opens at 9 a.m.
The municipal pool will provide a limited number of chairs, and all members are encouraged to bring their own. Daily guest passes will be sold online and members can bring up to four daily guests.

Beginning July. 1, the party area will be available for rentals. The use of the changing rooms will be limited, borough officials said. Bathrooms will be made available for use of facilities only and showers will not be permitted.
This year, Fresco by Jimmy’s will return as the snack bar vendor for the 2022 season. No food deliveries will be permitted to the pool.

The pool will open for 2022 for weekends on May 28, and full-time on June 21, with a special Juneteenth opening on June 17.
