METUCHEN, NJ - Health-conscious diners will soon have a new option for fresh, fast-casual meals. Salad House will be opening its doors in Metuchen soon, the Metuchen Downtown Alliance said.
The restaurant will be located at 660 Middlesex Avenue.
Officials from Metuchen Downtown Alliance said they worked with the franchisee for several years to bring the popular eatery to the community.

The restaurant will offer a menu of made-to-order salads, sandwiches, wraps, soup bowls and other health-focused options designed for customers seeking nutritious meal choices with quick service.
This Metuchen location represents continued expansion for the growing franchise, marking the 32nd signed territory for The Salad House brand.

The company currently operates 20 locations throughout the region.
Opening date details have not yet been announced, but MDA has encouraged residents to "join us in giving them a warm welcome" when doors officially open.
