Skating Rink At Edison’s Roosevelt Park To Open For The Season Nov. 15

EDISON, NJ – The Family Outdoor Skating Rink at Edison’s Roosevelt Park will open for the 2023-24 season on Nov. 15, Middlesex County announced. The rink will be open through March 31, 2024.

The Roosevelt Park Family Outdoor Skating Rink offers open skating, rink rentals, and skating lessons.

Admission fees for the ice skating rink is $6 for adults; and $5 for seniors, and children 17 and under. Skate rentals are also available for $5, and skate sharpening is available for $8.

The skating rink also offers discounted group rates as well as private facility rentals when the facility is not open for lessons and public skating.

Visitors can also sign up for three-week outdoor group ice skating lessons beginning mid-November or seven-week outdoor group ice skating lessons beginning early December and mid-January, the County said.

Each lesson is 30 minutes long and is one day per week until the series is completed. Lesson applications are available online, but registration is only available in person during business hours.

Here are the 2023 – 2024 season hours:

• Monday and Tuesday: CLOSED
• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: Session 1: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.; Session 2: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.; Session 3: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day

• Black Friday: Friday, November 24
• Winter Break: Tuesday, December 26 to Saturday, December 30
• New Year's Day: Monday, January 1
• Martin Luther King’s Birthday: Monday, January 15
• President’s Day: Monday, February 19
