Valentine's Day Kissing Booth, Cupids, Treats Set For Metuchen

METUCHEN, NJ — You can expect lots of Valentine's Day spirit in the air this weekend, Downtown Metuchen says.

"This weekend we go big on love and Valentine's Day - photo ops, parking Cupids, specials around town," says Dawn Mackey, executive director of the business district organization.

And, there's a kissing booth.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, you can stop by the kissing booth to "share a smooch with your lovey," as Downtown Metuchen says.

Cupids will be on the scene, handing out special Valentine’s Day cards with downtown treats in each one, Mackey said.

Downtown Metuchen also is sponsoring a Gift-a-gram promotion.

Visit a participating Downtown Metuchen business and purchase a special gift. Leave the recipient’s name and contact information with the business. Fill out a gift-a-gram card for your Valentine and leave on the business window. Your Valentine will get notified that they have a gift waiting for them at the local business.
