Viral ‘Fluffy Pancake’ Dessert Store Opens In Edison

The much-loved Japanese soufflé pancake café is now open in Edison.

EDISON, NJ – You may have seen the viral Japanese soufflé pancake on social media. Well, you now have the opportunity to taste them and more in the neighborhood.

Fluffy Fluffy Café recently opened at 1851 Route 27, in Edison. Mayor Samip Joshi and the Township welcomed the cafe with ribbon ribbon-cutting on Friday.

The cozy new café boasts a menu that includes handcrafted delights like eggs Benedict, Basque cheesecake, artisan drinks, and the brand’s signature soufflé pancakes that are light and airy.

“This new café is part of our ongoing effort to revitalize the Route 27 corridor,” Joshi said.

Originating from North America’s largest soufflé dessert café, Fluffy Fluffy (or “Fuwa Fuwa” in Japanese) has become known for its perfectly crafted soufflé pancakes.

Each one begins with egg whites whipped to soft peaks, creating a soft texture and is then gently cooked at a low temperature.
