Bergen Sheriff Gives Backpacks To Kids In Englewood
More than 200 backpacks and school supplies were given away to local students.
ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Bergen County Sheriff's Office gave away 200 backpacks and school supplies at MacKay Park Saturday.
The sheriff's Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 134 partnered with the sheriff's office. They donated the school supplies and hamburgers and hot dogs for the event.
The was part of Sheriff Anthony Cureton's continued effort to increase the office's presence in Bergen County.
