Central Kitchen Eyeing May Opening
Englewood Cliffs restaurant to serve Italian-influenced classic comfort food, provide nightlife on weekends.

The hotly-anticipated opening of Englewood Cliffs' Central Kitchen is now scheduled for the first week in May, the restaurant announced Saturday.
As Patch previously reported, the Italian-influenced eatery is renovating the space that once was occupied by the Royal Cliffs Diner. The Central Kitchen was originally scheduled to open in April.
When the doors open in early May, Central Kitchen will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Think contemporary American with an Italian twist, supported by a bevy of locally-sourced ingredients.

Chef John Walsh, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, will lead the kitchen.
"I want to create a family-focused place serving the kind of food people like to eat today – familiar dishes and excellent quality ingredients at a great price," operating member Joe Sansotta said in March.
