Englewood Cliffs Police, Fire to Hold First Blood Drive

Registration encouraged for first annual event.

The Englewood Cliffs police and fire departments will hold their first-ever blood drive Oct. 4.

“Walk-ins are always welcome on the day of the event, but pre-registration helps us to plan the event, and to help us recruit as many donors as we can," according to an online posting from host James Tracy, of the Englewood Cliffs police.

"The few minutes you spend making a blood donation could literally save someone's life," the message said.

The blood drive will take place at the fire station at 475 Sylvan Ave from 2 to 8 p.m.

More information is available online at the registration page.
