Englewood Cliffs Schools Chief Gets Principal Role

Superintendent says administrative change will save money, according to report.

The Englewood Cliffs schools superintendent has assumed the role of principal at two district schools in what he said was a cost-saving move, according to a report on northjersey.com

Superintendent Robert Kravitz took on the position April 30 at Upper and North Cliffs schools. Former principal Marylin Narcisi was reassigned to a teaching position, the report said.

According to Kravitz, the move would save around $40,000 to $45,000. His $135,000 salary reportedly will not change with the new responsibility.
