Emergency crews were called to a house fire on South Woodland Street, near East Palisade Avenue, late Thursday afternoon.
The fire appeared to be out, but East Palisade Avenue was closed at Brayton Street while crews continued to work at the scene around 5:45 p.m.
Firefighters from Englewood, Teaneck, Hackensack and Tenafly were at the scene. Officials were not immediately available to comment.
