Englewood Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault of 12-Year-Old Girl
The victim provided specific details to detectives regarding what had occurred with Victor Brito Casimiro.

A Bergen County man was arrested Tuesday after authorities learned he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with a 12-year-old female acquaintance on numerous occasions.
The New Jersey Department of Children and Families Division of Child Protection and Permanency learned of the incidents and contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit who then notified the Englewood Police Department, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
Arrangements were made for the victim to be interviewed by a detective from the Special Victims Unit at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in Paramus, where the victim provided specific details regarding what had occurred with Victor Brito Casimiro, 33, of Englewood.

Casimiro was charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault, one count of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a Child.
Bail was set at $250,000 with no ten percent option, no contact with the victim and the surrender of his passport as a condition of bail.

Casimiro was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.
