Englewood Man Charged With Sex Abuse of Two Girls

City man sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

An Englewood man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl faces additional charges after investigators learned he also abused a teenager, according to the county prosecutor's office.  

Pablo Roberto Gomez-Sanchez, 44, was arrested Wednesday after investigators discovered he had abused the 8-year-old acquaintance, authorities said. 

"The investigation also revealed that Gomez-Sanchez also had sexually assaulted a second juvenile female victim when that victim was between the ages of fifteen and eighteen years old," Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said in a statement.

Gomez-Sanchez was charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of criminal sexual contact and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. 

He was being held at the Bergen County Jail on $275,000 bail with no 10 percent option, authorities said. He was ordered to surrender his passport and not to have any contact with the alleged victims.
