NJ Lottery Player In Bergen County Wins Powerball Prize

A NJ Lottery customer who played Powerball at a Bergen County butcher shop got good news on Christmas Eve. See the winning numbers.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A lottery player who bought their ticket in Bergen County found out on Christmas Eve that they won big.

While they didn't claim the $1.8 billion jackpot — that went to a player in Arkansas — they will get $50,000, the NJ Lottery said.

They were among 10 New Jersey players who each won $50,000 prizes, and one who captured $100,000.

Winning Numbers

The winning numbers were 04, 25, 31, 52, and 59. The Power Ball was 19, and the multiplier was 02.

Eight NJ Lottery players matched four white balls and the Power Ball to each win $50,000. One player matched four white balls, the Powerball and the multiplier to win $100,000.

The player who won in Bergen County bought their ticket at Mi Tienda Carniceria ("The Butcher Shop") at 88 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield.

The retailer will get a bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Four Won Last Week
