Englewood Resident Named to NY Emmy Board

Three-Time NY Emmy Winner Todd Ehrlich Joins Board of Governors

Englewood native, Todd Ehrlich, a three-time Emmy winner, has been elected to a two-year term on the New York Emmy’s Board of Governors. The 61st annual New York Emmy Awards will be held on Saturday, April 14 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

In addition to serving on the New York Emmy Board of Governors and Awards Committee, Ehrlich, an 18-time Emmy nominee, is an Executive Producer for special projects at WCBS TV, the Coordinating Producer of CBS Sports Emmy Division and President of T-LINE TV.

“In the ever changing world of Broadcast TV, Ehrlich's responsibilities include everything from overseeing broadcast specials, field producing, shooting and writing. This wide ranging skill set can be invaluable to understanding what goes into each and every Emmy® entry and he will bring that knowledge base to the Board of Governors.”

“I am honored to have this opportunity to serve as a member of the Board of Governors,” said Ehrlich. I am privileged to have been recognized with three Emmys. To have the chance to contribute and provide my insights into what goes into these Emmy submissions and the gala is very gratifying to me.”

On the broadcast front, Ehrlich is the Coordinating Producer of CBS Sports Emmy division. The division is responsible for producing every CBS Sports Emmy submission. Ehrlich created and served as the Executive Producer for the yearly Komen Race for the Cure and Tunnel to Towers specials, as well as three sports series on WCBS TV: Sports Sunday, Sunday Blitz and Sports From the Round Table.

Recently he was honored when WCBS-TV anchor Dana Tyler asked him to introduce her at the New York Emmy's Gold and Silver Circle Awards. This award honors individuals who made a substantial impact on New York television over the past 25 (silver) or 50 (gold) years.

Ehrlich recapped Tyler’s impact to the New York market. He also touched on the importance of the news media though out here career and today.

He has been nominated for Emmy® Awards at WABC-TV, Metro TV and WCBS-TV. Ehrlich has garnered 8 New York State Broadcast Association Awards. Under Ehrlich’s stewardship, T-LINE TV has been recognized with over 90 international awards. Ehrlich has also been an Emmy® judge multiple times since 1999 and is honored to serve on the Board of Governors.
