Redding Resident Named Liberty League Track Performer of the Week

Senior middle distance runner Jon Pelzar (Redding/Joel Barlow) of the Rochester Institute of Technology men's track and field team was named the Liberty League Track Performer of the Week on Monday, May 23. It is the second weekly honor of the season for Pelzar.

Pelzar finished his RIT career with a sixth-place finish in the 1,500-meter run on Thursday, May 19 at the ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, recording a personal best time of 3:55.90. He was second in the same event in both the Liberty League and NYSCTC Championships earlier in the season.
