Woman Rams Boyfriend Outside Home of Alicia Keys, Police Say
A 38-year-old Englewood woman is accused of tracking down her sometimes-beau outside of the home once owned by Eddie Murphy, and slamming into the vehicle with her own pickup truck.
An Englewood woman is facing aggravated assault charges after police said she rammed the vehicle her on-again, off-again boyfriend was driving outside "Bubble Hill," the former home of Eddie Murphy and the current digs of Alicia Keys.
Police said Sonora Walters, 38, had been in the posh East Side Englewood neighborhood late Thursday morning searching for her on-again, off-again boyfriend to confront him over an undisclosed matter. While behind the wheel of her 1994 Mazda pickup, she spotted him driving down the hill in her 1999 Honda Civic, according to police.
“She then intentionally rammed her own car at a significant speed, with full knowledge that he was the driver,” said Detective Captain Timothy Torell.
