Cory Booker to Deliver Keynote Speech at TJ Career Day

Eighth grade students at Thomas Jefferson Middle School will get a sampling of the myriad careers available to them Wednesday when 21 local professionals, including Newark Mayor Cory Booker, visit the school for its second annual Career Day.

Booker, who is gearing up for a U.S. Senate run in 2014, is scheduled to deliver the all-day program's keynote address in the school auditorium at 1:30 p.m.

Dean "The Dean of Comedy" Obeidallah, a lawyer-turned-comedian, and Fair Lawn Rotary president and financial advisor Stu Herrmann will open the day's events at 8:25 a.m.
