CVS, ShopRite Shoplifting Incidents: Fair Lawn Blotter

P.O. Thomas Spear, P.O. John Rovetto, P.O. Juan Rodriguez, P.O. Javier Gutierrez & Det. Paul Donohue responded to the area of Shoprite, 17-17 River Road, after a male shoplifter fled from the store. A 30-year-old man from Paterson was located near Fair Lawn Avenue Bridge and was arrested when unpaid items, totaling $54.35, were found in his possession. A Dewalt drill that did not belong to Vandunk & needles were also found. He was released after being charged with shoplifting, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia & possession of hypodermic needles.

P.O. Brandon Loaiza & P.O. Tiller Uriarte responded to the area of CVS Pharmacy, 29-00 Broadway, after a male shoplifter had fled the store and arrested a 54-year-old East Orange man after he was captured nearby with unpaid items totaling $331.71. He was released after being charged with shoplifting & possession of drug paraphernalia.

P.O. John Rovetto initiated a motor vehicle stop on 11th Street at Campbell Road and arrested the operator, a 45-year-old man from Paterson, after an arrest warrant out of Passaic County was located. He was handed over to the Passaic County Sheriff׳s Department.
