State data shows NJ school districts that had the most — and least — bullying and harassment cases.
FAIR LAWN-SADDLE BROOK, NJ -A number of New Jersey school districts had large numbers of harassment, intimidation and bullying cases this past year as the problems continue to impact the state's cities and suburban areas.
New Jersey has released its annual list of harassment, intimidation and bullying cases reported by each school district, revealing the most recent data of reported cases.

During the 2017-18 school year, Fair Lawn reported 48 cases and 9.47 cases per 1,000 people. The district ranked 128th on the list of more than 500.
During the 2017-18 school year, Saddle Brook reported 12 cases and 6.98 cases per 1,000 people. The district ranked 217th on the list of more than 500.

The state Department of Education has cautioned that these numbers are reported by each district, so each jurisdiction is responsible for reporting its results fairly and accurately. But they are required by law to report them.
