DWI Charge For Franklin Lakes Man Who Crashed Car Near Route 208 Monday
A Franklin Lakes man was charged with DWI after crashing in Fair Lawn during Monday evening rush hour, police said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Bergen County man was charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing his vehicle in Fair Lawn Monday night, police said.
George A. Bowen, 67, of Franklin Lakes was charged after police responded to a report of a crash, said Fair Lawn police.
Police said that Officer Anthony Ferreira Jr. responded to Berdan Avenue at Cadmus Place, several blocks from Route 208, around 6:13 p.m. Monday.

Bowen was arrested after he failed a roadside sobriety test, police said.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, police said.
