FAIR LAWN, NJ - A 13-year-old Fair Lawn boy faces charges after police say he was found with marijuana and Xanax packaged and ready for dealing.
On Friday, Det. Anthony Lugo and Det. Brian Rypkema responded to a Lenox Drive home after an investigation led to them to the address regarding a juvenile possibly involved in drug distribution, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.
After getting cooperation from the boy’s parents, detectives found Xanax and marijuana packaged for distribution, vape pens containing liquid THC, edible marijuana and a container of urine that was later determined to be a clean sample from someone else, Metzler said.

The teen was allowed to remain with his parents at home and will be charged as a juvenile with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the sergeant said.
