Fair Lawn To Offer 3rd COVID Vaccine Dose

Booster doses of the Moderna vaccine will be offered to the immunocompromised at a Municipal Building clinic.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — A third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be offered at a clinic in Fair Lawn next week, health department officials announced.

The health department will host a vaccination clinic, which will offer third dose booster shots to the immunocompromised at the Municipal Building on Aug. 25 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved the third dose of both vaccines for certain immunocompromised people, specifically, solid organ transplant recipients or those who are diagnosed with conditions that are considered to be an equivalent level of immunocompromised.
