Floral Painting Workshop Quickly Fills at Saddle Brook Library

Saddle Brook residents are in for a creative treat this August - though you'll have to wait for the next one if you did not register in time

On Tuesday, August 13, the Saddle Brook Public Library will host a free non-toxic floral oil
painting workshop led by local artist and nonprofit founder Ovi Paulter, as part of her ongoing mission to bring gentle, restorative art experiences to communities across Bergen County.

The event filled within days, a reflection of growing community interest in slow, creative spaces — and in Floral Sessions with Ovi’s unique approach to teaching.

“Each session is limited to just 12–15 people so that everyone can feel seen, supported, and unhurried,” says Paulter. “We’re creating more than just art — we’re creating moments of stillness.”

The workshop series is part of Paulter’s nonprofit initiative to offer free, accessible art programs in local libraries, with quarterly sessions already running in Rochelle Park, Glen Rock, Hackensack, Midland Park, and Elmwood Park. Saddle Brook is the latest town to say yes.

All supplies are provided, and no experience is needed.
