Former Trustee Returns to Saddle Brook Board of Education
Jerry Taylor, former vice president of the Saddle Brook Board of Education, will fill the seat vacated in March by trustee Keith Rosso.

Former Saddle Brook Board of Education trustee Jerry Taylor will fill the board seat vacated last month by Keith Rosso.
After interviewing four replacement candidates, the board unanimously chose to appoint Taylor, who served as the board's vice president last year but opted to run for council last November rather than seek re-election to the board.
"All of the candidates did well," board trustee Bob White said. "It was a matter of the board’s opinion that Jerry did the best. He has the past experience on the board. He was the most suitable candidate."

White said he hopes Taylor provides some stability to the board, which has already had two trustees resign this year. In addition to Rosso, who left in March to take a job out of state, trustee Christopher Winnie left the board in January, just a few weeks after being elected. Trustee Regina Barrale filled Winnie's seat in February, after being chosen from a pool of candidates that included Taylor.
Taylor will now sit on the board for at least the remainder of the year and possibly longer. White said the new trustee indicated he would run for election this November.
