Stanley Cup winner and former New Jersey Devil Jim Dowd will <a href="https://fairlawn-saddlebrook.patch.com/groups/opinion/p/meet-jim-down-at-the-rotary-sports-memorabilia-night">sign autographs at a Fair Lawn Rotary fundraiser</a> at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club next month. Dowd, a center, helped the Devils win their first Cup in 1995, including scoring a game-winning goal against Detroit in the second match of the series. The fundraiser event at 7 p.m. October 23 will also include auctions of sports memorabilia and a buffet dinner with beer, soda and a cash bar. Tickets cost $40 and are available in advance from Fair Lawn Rotarians or by emailing fairlawnrotarians@gmail.com.
