Gov. Phil Murphy Brings Out Sen. Amy Klobuchar At Fair Lawn Rally
The duo also offered support for the local slate of Democrats, who helped host the event.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy's campaign trail included Fair Lawn this weekend, in addition to a few neighboring communities in Passaic County.
Murphy was joined by Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar for the Sunday event, which also featured a number of county officials, and the local slate of Democratic candidates.
"We're less than a month away from the November 2 election and focused on talking to voters across the state. Honored to have @AmyKlobuchar join @TammyMurphyNJ and me today to fire up our hardworking volunteers," said Murphy, on Twitter.

The message of the day was that democracy, both nationally and in the Garden State, is facing a tumultuous time. Noting this, Murphy said it's important that the state's Democratic voters show up at the polls.
"There’s too much at stake to sit this one out," said Murphy, as reported by NorthJersey.com. "I’m begging you. You wouldn’t be here if you weren’t going to vote, but the question is: Who can you call, email, text, door-knock?"

Local candidates Deputy Mayor Josh Reinitz and Councilwoman Gail Rottenstrich said the stop in Fair Lawn meant that Murphy was "recognizing our town as key to victory in Bergen and New Jersey."
"Governor Murphy and officials throughout the county came to town to encourage Dems to show up and go to the polls. Gail and Josh reminded the crowd how much is at stake in this election for all of NJ, and how far we’ve come in Fair Lawn in the last 4 years, with improvements happening throughout town daily, with no municipal tax hikes," the joint campaign added.
Murphy also made stops in Paterson and Passaic this weekend, as well as the Korean American Association of New Jersey’s 20th Annual Chuseok Festival.
