Man Assaulted Child In Saddle Brook, Prosecutor Says
A man was charged last week with the aggravated assault of a child in Saddle Brook, said Bergen County prosecutors.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — A Saddle Brook man was charged last Wednesday with the aggravated assault of a child, prosecutors said.
Victor M. Morales, 44, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday.
Prosecutors said that last Wednesday, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the physical abuse of a juvenile.

An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Saddle Brook Police Department determined that he assaulted and injured a child in Saddle Brook.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a detention hearing in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
