Man On Saddle Brook Highway Hit With Bat: State Police

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — A man was struck with a bat in Saddle Brook, according to the New Jersey State Police.

State troopers responded to a report of an assault in progress west at exit 62 on Thursday evening, according to the state police.

When the state troopers arrived, they found the victim had been hit by a bat.

The assailant fled the scene before the troopers arrived, according to the state police.

No serious injuries have been reported, the New Jersey State Police said.

The incident is currently under investigation.
