Gun Pulled In Fair Lawn Craft Beer Bar Fight, Arrest Made: Police

An argument at Stosh's on Maple Avenue ended with a man pulling a gun on one of the bar's patrons, according to local authorities.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — A Patterson man stands accused of pulling a gun amid a heated fight that began in a popular Fair Lawn bar, police announced Wednesday.

Anthony Muniz, 50, was arrested months after the fight at Stosh's, a craft beer bar on Maple Avenue and Forest Street, on Aug. 16, Fair Lawn police Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

Muniz demanded a 52-year-old patron meet him outside the bar, then, while outside, grabbed his neck and pulled out a gun, police said.

The brave 52-year-old pushed the gun away and Muniz fled, Metzler said.

Muniz was arrested Tuesday in Morris County and charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose, and certain persons not to possess weapons, police said.

The Patterson man was then taken to the Bergen County Jail, police said.
