Paterson Couple Charged in Fair Lawn Bank Robbery

A boyfriend and girlfriend duo from Paterson have been charged in the February robbery at a TD Bank in Fair Lawn.

A Paterson couple that allegedly worked as a team to rob local banks has confessed to holding up a Fair Lawn bank in February, NorthJersey.com reported.

Lamont Moseley, 28, and Samantha Dixon, 30, who were arrested Wednesday in connection with a bank robbery in Maywood, admitted their involvement in four other bank robberies in Bergen and Passaic counties, including the Feb. 25 hold up of the TD Bank on River Road, according to the news site.

In that incident, which occurred just blocks from Fair Lawn police headquarters, Moseley allegedly slipped the bank teller a note indicating a robbery and , police said.

Moseley and Dixon have also copped to robbing banks in Elmwood Park, Haledon and Totowa, NorthJersey.com reported.

They currently face robbery charges in Fair Lawn and Maywood — with additional charges pending in other towns — and are being held at Bergen County Jail on $150,000 bond.
