Conspiracy Theory

Commenters on social media posted both serious and humorous responses.
"All those hours watching Duck Dynasty paid off," wrote one person.
A poet opined: "No time to cluck, he saved those ducks! With calm and care, he answered the quack call — Officer Ahearn, hero to all!”
And of course, there was a conspiracy theory: "That Ahearn guy is planting those ducks!"
But one observer was more serious, suggesting that the grates needed screens.
