Police Connect Attempted Robberies in Glen Rock and Fair Lawn
Police are investigating two robberies attempted just minutes apart.

Glen Rock police, along with the Bergen County Sheriff, the FBI, and the Fair Lawn police, are investigating two attempted bank robberies.
Last Thursday around 2:30pm, a man told the teller at Boiling Springs Savings Bank that he needed money because his daughter had been kidnapped. However, he left the bank without taking anything, police Captain Jonathan Miller told NorthJersey.com. The bank’s manager had pulled the silent alarm.
The suspect is described as a 6 foot tall black man between 190 and 200 lbs., wearing a white shirt and a black baseball cap.

Neither bank reported a weapon, but both described the man as very nervous. The getaway car was described as a black midsize SUV with a black female driver.
