Senior Housing Plan Approval, Memorial Day Grave Decoration in Week Ahead

• Monday, May 20

1. The Fair Lawn boys tennis team faces Livingston in the state sectional tennis final at 2 p.m.
2. The Fair Lawn High School baseball team takes on Memorial at 4 p.m. in the first round of the state baseball tournament.
3. Saddle Brook Township Council will convene for a special meeting at 7 p.m. at Town Hall for the adoption of the Senior Housing Redevelopment Plan and a number of other items.

1. Free health consultations are available from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Fair Lawn Borough Hall.
2. The Fair Lawn High School softball team plays Clifton at 4 p.m. in the first round of the state softball tournament.
3. Fair Lawn borough council has a work session at 7:30 p.m in Borough Hall Room 201. Click here for the meeting agenda. Among the items up for discussion are the creation of the Fair Lawn Arts Council, the estabishment of an ordinance fees for potentially dangerous dogs and the possibility of creating a dog park in town.
4. The Saddle Brook Plannig Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

1. A child health clinic will be held at Fair Lawn Borough Hall. Call 201-794-5331 to make an appointment.
2. The Fair Lawn High School boys volleyball team plays in the second round of the state volleyball tournament at 4 p.m.
3. The Fair Lawn Rescue Squad will hold a fundraiser benefit dinner at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dine in or take out. Catering will be provided by Caputo's. Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to the Rescue Squad.
4. The Fair Lawn Library will hold an opening reception for its Fair Lawn High School Student Group Show from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Pine Gallery.

1. The Fair Lawn Veteran's Council will perform grave decorations as part of its Memorial Day ceremonies at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery beginning at 11 a.m.
