Student Arrested, Intoxicated Driver: Fair Lawn PD Blotter
Fair Lawn police responded to a number of incidents, including the arrest of a student and several narcotics arrests.
FAIR LAWN, NJ - Police responded to a number of incidents over the past week, including the arrest of a high school student for drug paraphernalia possession and a driver for being intoxicated.

At 11:20 a.m., S.R.O. Sean Nagle arrested an 18-year-old from Fair Lawn after school
personnel found evidence of marijuana use in her belongings at Fair Lawn High School, 14- 00 Berdan Avenue. She was released after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 3:42 p.m. P.O. Tiller Uriarte initiated a motor vehicle stop on River Road at Range Road and arrested the passenger, a 21-year-old Hackensack man after marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. He was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
11/03/2019 - Narcotics
At 12:33 a.m. P.O. Brandon Loaiza & P.O. Juan Rodriguez initiated a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 at Paramus Road and arrested a passenger, a 19-year-old Saddle Brook man after he surrendered a container of marijuana to the officers during questioning. He was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
11/03/2019 - Driving While Intoxicated
At 1:55 a.m, P.O. Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on Fair Lawn Avenue at 3rd Street and arrested the operator, a 42-year-old Somerset man after he failed a roadside sobriety test. He was released to a responsible adult after he was charged with failure to maintain a single lane, failure to signal a turn, careless driving, unclear license plates & driving while intoxicated.

At 9:22 p.m. P.O. Brandon Loaiza & P.O. Juan Rodriguez initiated a motor vehicle stop on Broadway at 32nd Street and arrested the operator, a 24-year-old Paterson woman, after marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. She was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance & maintenance of vehicle lamps.
