FAIR LAWN, NJ - Fair Lawn police responded to a number of incidents over the past week, including a report of stolen prescription slips and drug possession.

On 10-26-19, a 36-year-old female victim from Fair Lawn reported to Fair Lawn
Police that her vehicle had been dropped for repairs at TriBoro Auto Body, 5-35 Saddle River Road, on 9-11-19 and after having the vehicle returned on 10-3-19, realized that prescription slips that had been issued to her by her doctor were missing. Det. Paul Donohue took over the investigation and arrested a 27-year-old Kearny man, who was identified as the ex-employee who had taken the slips and subsequently turned himself in. He was released after being charged with theft of movable property.

P.O. Juan Rodriguez approached a suspicious parked vehicle in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, 12-06 River Road, and arrested a passenger, a 29-year-old Passaic man after cocaine was discovered inside the vehicle. He was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
