Man Threatened To Shoot Up Bergen School: Report

School officials say they received a threat by phone, according to a report.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ – A North Bergen man faces charges after authorities say he threatened to shoot up Cliffside Park High School on Monday, according to a report.

Around 8 a.m., the district received a threat by phone and the school was placed into lockdown, NJ.com reported.

Following an investigation, Misael Echevarria, 45, was identified as the caller and taken into custody, the report said.
