- Monday, May 13
- The Saddle Brook Board of Education will hold a Caucus Meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Middle/High School Room 120, where it will aprove the new superintendent of schools to replace the retiring Kathryn Fedina.
- The Fair Lawn Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. in Borough Hall Council Chambers. Click here for the meeting agenda.
- Tuesday is the deadline to register if you want to vote in a New Jersey primary. Registration can be done in person at the Fair Lawn or Saddle Brook municipal buildings.

- Wednesday, May 15
- The Saddle Brook Board of Education meets for its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Middle/High School Room 120.

- Thursday, May 16
- St. Anne School is holding its 17th Annual Tricky Tray at the Venetian in Garfield. Cost is $60.00 per person, which includes admission into tricky tray, a sit down dinner and a sheet of 25 tickets to the first tier prizes. Tickets will not be sold at the door. - The Fair Lawn Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in Edison School Room 19.
- Overnight parking enforcement is suspended in Fair Lawn.
- Friday, May 17
- Fair Lawn High School Marathon begins at approximately 2:45 p.m and runs until 10 p.m. All activities are behind the high school.
- The Fair Lawn ADA Committee will host a dance for Bergen County adults with special needs at the Community Center from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Dance Designs presents its Cabaret of Solos and Duets Dance Concert at the Fair Lawn Community Center at 7 p.m. For information and ticket sales, call (201)-791-8873 or visit www.dancedesignsstudio.com.
- Saturday, May 18
- Fair Lawn Recycling Center is holding a Litter Clean Up event at 9 a.m. Click here for more details, if you'd like to participate.
- Fair Lawn High School Marathon continues Saturday behind the high school from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Saddle Brook High School Band Association will hold its second annual car wash fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Washington School, located at 225 Market Street.
- Saddle Brook Girl Scout Troop 60568 is working with the Newtown, Conn. Volunteer Ambulance Corps to help replenish needed supplies for the community’s food pantry from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the ShopRite of Rochelle Park, located at 220 W. Passaic Street in Rochelle Park.
- The Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps will be holding a CPR class for the general public that covers how to perform CPR on both adults and children. The cost of the class, which runs from noon to 3 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps building, is $10. (See the attached PDF for a registration form).
- Sunday, May 19
- Mariann's School of Dance Spring Concert will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Fair Lawn Community Center. For information, call (201)-261-1207 or visit www.mariannsdance.com.
- The Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps will be holding a First Aid class for the general public that covers how to perform basic first aid such as bleeding control and bandaging, splinting, and Epi Pen administration. The cost of the class, which runs from noon to 3 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps building, is $10. (See the attached PDF for a registration form).
- Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B'nai Israel members Michael, Robin, Julia and Jessica Baer will speak and show photos of their "life-changing trip to Ghana” in support of Breaking the Chain Through Education, a non-profit organization that aims to help eradicate child slave trafficking by building schools in Ghana. The event runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B'nai Israel.
