COVID-19 Test Site To Close In Flemington

The Hunterdon County Test Site on Reaville Avenue in Flemington will close on Thursday.

FLEMINGTON, NJ — The Hunterdon County Test Site on Reaville Avenue in Flemington will be closing on Thursday.

The Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners had previously approved a resolution extending the test site to June 30, using funds on account with Vault Medical Services due to a continued need in the area.

"The COVID-19 test site on Reaville Avenue in Flemington continues to see brisk business. Since the site opened on February 3rd over 6,300 tests have been administered... The clinic is seeing school children and those who are concerned that they may have symptoms before visiting friends or traveling. And as has been noted many times previously, the test site is a resource to businesses because it creates options for employers and employees, particularly for those who have a medical or religious reason that prohibits vaccination," said Commissioner Shaun C. Van Doren, the Board’s liaison for the Health Department, at the May 17 meeting.
