• Hunterdon County Commissioners Expand Open Space Preservation With Municipal and Land Acquisition Grants (tapinto.net) — Hunterdon County Commissioners, meeting in Flemington, have approved more than $626,000 in open space and municipal grants to support park upgrades and land preservation. Funded through the county’s Open Space Trust Fund, the awards back projects in Lebanon Borough, Readington Township, and Tewksbury, reinforcing long-term protection of parks, forests, and watershed areas that Flemington residents also enjoy countywide.
   

• 40-year-old man injured after being hit by car in Hunterdon Co., transported via helicopter to hospital (wfmz.com) — Emergency crews from Raritan Township and the Flemington-Raritan Rescue Squad rushed to Old York Road after a 40-year-old man was hit by a car while helping direct traffic. He suffered a head injury and was airlifted by state police helicopter to a trauma center, and investigators from Raritan Township police and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office are now examining the cause.
